My Ride: '02 AW 6spd M3
Track my M3 or Rx-7??

Ok guys, I need some advice. I have a 2004 LSB 6sp M3 with just a hair over 60k miles. It's 99% mint condition, but living in VA I'm only an hour away from the Virginia International Raceway and I want to start running at the events there.

My dilemma, I'm told 'don't drive anything to the track that you don't mind trailoring home"...I don't necessarily baby my M3 but I have full intention on keeping it in pristine condition. On the other hand I have a pretty sturdy 87 TII rx7 that has been moderately modded. Engine is in decent enough condition to run it just needs some work before its track ready. It doesn't handle like my M3 nor is it as fun to drive but there are worse track cars out there...

I need some opinions...what would you do? What type of abuse, wear/tear is typical for a tracked car? Rock chips, scrapes etc...I don't tolerate any sort of chips on my M3...
