Going With a Muffler Delete, Have Questions though.

anyways, Thank you everyone else for the advice, stett performance headers are definitely in my near future! Might still complete the exhaust with a muffler delete later down the road.

As for installing the headers, I have been thinking of installing them my self. On a scale of 1-10 how much of a PITA is it. (difficulty and PITA are different)

Not sure if Bimmerworld still offers the deal but it was a package that came with an aFe magnum force intake, HKS full catback exhaust and a free shark chip. Can't find it for the life of me...best route possibly to get...all for $1200. Headers and full exhaust will just cause you headaches when it comes to inspection time. Horsepower is all in the engine...not in the exhaust. Do it for the sound...nothing more

I don't know how restricted your cars are but over the pond I have a stock (BMW specialist serviced) 330 and the Honda civic type r, Subaru WRX(221hp) and the ford focus St can't take me. Even the VW R32 can't lose me. Everything is un-touched. Just good service parts and turn off that traction control then your running a good car. It's not slow. Just need to know how to drive it.

Our cars are not slow nor is it fast. It's just decent.

I went with dual 3.5 outlets on mine and I think it looks great! Not rice at all, very sporty and nice sound
