was it hard to get off the armrest? I tried once before to take them off and gave up...

Haha thanks.

And no it's not difficult. I had the whole door panel off and wrapped a flat head tip with cloth and pried it up gradually. They are on there tight so just use caution when taking it off. Move your way from front to back and you'll be fine.
