Did you splice the two pink wires together? Apart from that detail I can't see why it will not switch back to the main screen (or whatever you were doing before).

Check your cables for loose wires and connections. Reset the unit once you've checked everything.

Of course if they are not then some of these Ideas may not work. Either way. The Dynavin has two USB's and a Headphone (for AUX purposes) these come out of the back and can be extended. Below is a picture of two usb and one headphone Aux jack that I extended to the back portion of my Euro tray. I also extended the Ipod input to the inside of my euro tray. There is also the picture of the backup camera that I in stalled in the trunk Keyhole. Like I said I don't know if the Encos have all these inputs but if they do. here are some options. One of the USB's is connected to the CD/DVD/AUX board so you can play music files from a USB. the other USB is connected to the nav board. I guess for updates and such. either way I extended them both so I had access to them without having to remove the radio again. if you have any questions, let me know.
You should have create a DIY on how to setup those USB and aux. your setup is so clean!! Props to you and sharing those pics!!

I want the Android one as that offers more possibilities now and down the road. You get all the same benefits of WinCE (offline navigation - sold separately, ipod, bluetooth etc.) albeit with some additional setup headaches.

But you can hack the OS (M3evolutions ROM), get more/better apps than what WinCE offers, tether wifi (dynavin only for now, infrastructure only), add apps like torque pro . . . like Jeff says, if you like to tinker get the Android. If not, WinCE.

Thanks Brother, By the time I thought of a DIY I was already half way thru. LOL. Not hard at all if you have the Euro tray Just pop it out, flip it upside down, take out the rubber insert and drill it out for the two USB and the headphone jack. found here
http://jandtdistributing.com/dynavin...lug-extension/
and here
http://jandtdistributing.com/dynavin...e-adapter-kit/

After drilling the holes replace the rubber insert and cut the holes thru the rubber using an exacto knife. pop all the cables thru and run them under the center console and up to behind the radio via the glove box. The ipod cable is a bit different you have to run it from the center of the console to behind the radio via the glove box. I say the center because this cable is very short compared to the usb extensions. I wish I had thought of the DIY earlier but it is what it is. If you guys have any questions please feel free to PM me with a number if you want And I will call you and walk you thru it. Good Luck.

Everything's up and running except for the gps. Can't get any signal. Tried all possible things to do to it that can be found here and the dynavin forum and still no luck. I'll have a go at it again tomorrow.

Recieved my unit yesterday and got everything installed. Everything went smooth but have a few small issues...

1. The radio volume is super loud and have to keep it set to 2...

2. Steering wheel controls don't work and not sure why?

3. What the red box thing and where is it supposed to go?

4. It seems the display is slightly zoomed in/to big for the screen...

Can anyone help with any of these things? I've fiddled with the settings and can't find a fix....

All in all I'm very happy with the product and hope these kinks can be worked out. I ordered through Jolly and she was very great to deal with. Very friendly and helpful.

Thanks guys

the sound issue i had,set treble to like -2 or 0 bass at 0.that helped alot but make sure the loud is off also. the red box thing is the can box which controls your steering wheel buttons, make sure you have it plugged in tightly and i put mine up to the left on top next to the vents.not sure on your zoom problem

First it all the red box is the canbus and it will let you use the steering wheel control. I'm at work but otherwise I could send you a pic of where it goes till someone else sends it before me. Display and radio, can't help there sorry.

Thanks got the steering wheel controls working! I had plugged the white plug into the back of the unit instead of the red box... Not sure what goes into the plug in the back of the unit there? It's the same size as the canbus (red) box and same 20 pin setup?...

Anyways everything is working great! The Bluetooth iPod and phone, GPS/NAV, stereo and amp. I would highly recommend this product. Looks great and smooth operation

Cheers

I think it was like 35-45 mins with a break for a beer... Lol
And I watched a video of the install too to make sure I was doing it right.
Video was BSW Dynavin install on YouTube. Was very helpful in removing all the factory stuff to prepare the install.

I'm not very good at this stuff and it was pretty easy just take your time and you'll be fine.

Actually still trying to figure that one out... I'm wondering if maybe it had to do with the volume setting on the factory unit prior to removing it and installing the new Enco... I've checked all the settings and can't find a way to adjust it other than lowering all the treble, bass, and subwoofer levels into the negative but sound quality suffers that way so I've kept it at normal levels and keep the volume at 2-4...

I'm open to any suggestions if anyone has any ideas...

Are you using an amp for the speakers or stock? I had to turn down my gains to keep the music at a reasonable volume (from 9 to 5 ... ).
