Anyone ever Race a RSX type-S???

Just wondering guy's, cause I own one , but I want a M3 in the worst way! . A friend of mine has a 330ci, Its a phat ride, and its pretty fast. I can keep up with him pretty good, but I think he pulls on me a little, in like 4th gear or so.

I reaced one in my IS300, I wasn't all that impressed, but he was stock, then again, so am I. I also raced on in my prelude, we were dead even. raced some debadged rsx in my 325, and pulled him, not sure what trim that one was

RSX-S are nice cars. It won't take a 330 manual but it could take the auto.

My friend has a type-S with headers, exh and int. We raced one time, I raped him pretty bad, but he hun gin pretty good. I love that car, it's a lotta fun, especially when VTEC kicks in. I was looking into buying one as my everyday driver, but outta my price range.

I raced with tyep S and we were dead even till 90mph which I slowed down. we started from 10mph roll. mine is 323ci 5sp stock so 330 should be able to take it easily.
he was pushing it to limit that it was shooting blue smoke right before he change gears. I was suprised I kept with him. I tought he would whoop my asss.

I also beat regular Rsx w/o problem.

Type S' have no power/torque on the highway. I raced one from 65+ and it was like buh bye....by 120 put a couple of BUS lengths.

i plyaed with one recently on the highwy as well..i was going about 60 and he came up on the side of me..i down shifter to 3rd and sped away form him all the way to 130mph..he was 3 lengths behind me at the end..i dont know if he was stock but i am not ..at the end of the straight there is a pretty sharp turn in the road..i took it reather fast and he slowed significantly..i guess the driver wasnt sure enough to turn his car at higher speed..oh well. the RSX was more of a challenge then the 2000 accord 2 nights ago

what happened to the accord?

I beat a 99 Accord V6 with no problem at all in my 330i step. Well, I honestly have got software retuned and also cold air intake, but he got exhaust and looked moded. But I beat him pretty far till I can see it in my rearview mirror, hhehehhehe . Next, I wanna try with the new accord V6...

I raced one before, I wasn't impressed. But, then again nothing really matches up well vs. my SS in a straight line
