Airbag Warning Light

Hi there, not a massive thing but i have had the air bag warning light on my dash now since i bought the car. I did a bit of searching on possible cures for this at the time but to no avail.

I was told that i needed someone with a specific computer (cant remember the name) to look at the fault and possible diaganose/reset the light. I live in Hampshire and there was nobody local who could do this, (without paying a fortune to the stealer) however for the next week i am up in Doncaster (S.Yorks) seeing my parents and i was wondering if anybody local would be able to help/point me in the right direction.

Thank you for reading,

Nigel.

airbag warning

hi, dont know if this will help you but i have similar problem with ghost lights on my 316. I traced a guy on piston heads who resets alarm lights and does a few other tricks like automatically closes windows when you lock doors if not already set up. I think hes down south so too far from me. If you are sure that it is not a genuine issue with the air bag maybe he can help. It was £20 per alarm when i looked. Cant remember the name but number is 07584661603. Hope it helps.

have you checked wires under seat as that can throw up light if loose.
