Glad that this thread is still alive!

BTW, I'm making a trip over to SEMA with FD Driver Chelsea Denofa in his e36. Here's a link to the info. If any of you can make it out to any of the stops that'd be great!

Also ordering the subframe/chassis reinforcement brace this week along with the hydraulic e brake from ksport. I got a local shop making all the SS lines for me Will post pics once everything is installed and done!

i swear youre reading my mind, the rear chassis brace and hydraulic e-brake were two things i was looking to get this season

If you know a good fabricator, that rear brace could be made fairly cheap btw (i got a quote for $250).

Anyone know why that mason engineering brace is 3-piece? im guessing for ease of installation?

my e46 m lsd install is going slower than id like.... hopefully it'll see some asphalt this weekend

i honestly havent thought about how/where to mount it yet, ive been trying to do some research on them (mostly on other platform like s13's and fd's) and seeing how those guys install them. Im probably gonna hold off on that until i get to the point where i need it to progress (id rather spend the money on tires )

i would recommend reinforcing the subframe mounting points before stiffening up the rear end with any kind of strut brace as the added stiffness will only put more stress the subframe mounts.

i finally everything out that i need to do the m3 diff swap, so tomorrow begins the reassembly. hopefully it goes a lot faster then the tear-down

Well the mason rear brace also reinforces the subframe. It redistributes the subframe weak points across the floorboard and throughout the brace. Taking the pressure off of the weak points.

Going from the drifting a 240 to a e46 is like night and day, only downside is Beemer stuff is expensive but I'm continplating sliding it. And I loved javing a welded diff...which diff can u weld on th e46? Bc dailying a welded was te greatestthing ever lol

Well you can get any e46 diff welded just depends on what final drive you want. Me, I went with a 3.46. There pretty common and can be had for a low cost.
