The X3 is Getting Upgraded to the N20 Motor too!

The news came out that the X3 will be getting the N20 motor in the xDrive28i model in April giving it the same motor as the new 3 series F30. Dyno runs are showing great numbers with 240hp / 257lb-ft at the WHEELS. It shows that BMW is still underrating their motors and should make for some great modding of that engine too.

Anyone here ever consider an X3? Would having the N20 with tuning potential change your mind about owning one?

240 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque will easily turn into 310 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque... probably much, much more if the proper precautions are taken. If I were in the market for a smaller SUV, then yeah... I'd jump on it.

Kelleners Sport has an N20 power module for the X3 that produced 294hp and 310 ft-lbs of torque
