535's came with an old 2 valve pos. people say its great for FI because of its 8.8 to 1 compression ratio, but with its junk head design thats like 10-11 to 1 on a modern 4 valve engine.
if you are set on an old fiver, a 525 has the same torque and a better all around engine.

Im deff more for an e30 then e28. They just seem to be harder to come by.
I'm not looking to go fast with it. Just looks. Stance it out. |

I have always liked the looks of an e30 just something to cruise around in. I like older German cars that are really clean.

Yea e34s are sweet looking although I don't know if I would personally get a 5 unless it was an e39.

Yea same here. The main reason I want one something else is to drive on campus that I could also work on as well and I wouldn't mind it getting a little beat up at first from people hitting it but my e46 is getting a lot of dents and its starting to get under my skin. not that I would want that to happen to the e30 but I wouldn't mind as much.

An E30 Vert would be nice. An E30 M3 Vert would be even nicer.
Have any of you checked Enthusiast Auto's website lately?? They have a mean looking E30 M3 vert for sale...at an even meaner price......($69,990 |

The fact that they werent imported by BMWUSA probably has a lot to do with the price.
