m50 intake, m3 camshaft in 328i??

I've done some searching and this seems to be the only way to really make some real horsepower/tq on the e46 328s.

With tuning like a shark, and these mods... what would the hp/tq be estimated around vs stock?

the m50 swap sounds good for me to do. It doesnt seem a tune is necessary for it from what I've read?

None of those things are possible on the M52TU engine.

M54B30 Manifold, ZHP or Schrick camshafts, headers and a tune and you'll be making some decent power...that's just bolt ons though.

are you sure the m50 intake manifold wont work with the 00 328i?

If you pull out 2 studs the manifold will bolt up but I don't think that there is enough meat in the head to port large enough to match the M50 intake.
I am thinking about the M52 intake instead with schrick cams in a ported M54 head. I really wonder if the M54 head can flow enough to honestly use the M50 intake?

The dyno graph you showed is of an E36 engine . You have an E46 and its a DIFFERENT engine.

S50/s52 cams wont fit into an M52TU, nor would S54

I really don't understand how daft some people are...Post #3...what more do you want? Myself and several others, including Iceman00, have swapped manifolds.

Then be the first? It's not that hard. And M50 manifolds will not fit on an M52tub28...Just in case you missed that part...

id rather see numbers not "you could gain power"
