The whole front end of the car is a high pressure area - direct or not it will probably get plenty of air.

I am an opponent of front plates.

A good case for removing them is that, business-wise, it creates a pretty big hassle for used car dealerships. Every time a car is sold without a front plate bracket (i.e. Minnesota dealers buying a car from Florida,) it costs about 100 bucks to get one, and someone like me has to drop what they're doing and either order the part, or go straight to a dealer to pick it up. That's 1000 dollars per load of 10 cars that comes in, and I'm sure would easily make a difference of tens of thousands per year for the dealership I work for. Plus it gives the police one more reason to stop you and ruin your day for something that really makes no positive difference to anyone, ever. Meter maids might have to take the extra 5 seconds to walk to the back of the car, but they definitely have time for that. Police never really need to read your plate from the front unless your car is parked in some strange fashion. PLUS two plates per vehicle, compared to one plate per vehicle, is definitely close to twice as expensive to continually produce.

But uhhh.. I finally got my kar out this Friday. Did the valve cover and vanos seals in the goodyear parking lot off Snelling and University (lol)

I'm in no way a supporter of front plates. Just saying that that's the law and it is what it is. Why give the cops another reason to pull you over for something so simple?

I had my front plate off until it cost me about $350 in tix. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Looks like it's about time for some new front control arms/bushings. Getting a good clunk sound from the front driver side area. Guess 108k was a good run for the factory set...

Just kidding! Ended up being a sway bar endlink that was a quarter turn loose.

OE control arms still going strong, Xi FTW.
