help please if possible

i have a 2002 325ci vert ,but my motor for the top went i was wondering if there is any possible way to put the top up and down manualy if there is please tell me whaty i have to do thanks in advance guys..

I cannot talk to your car, but my 2005 330ci has a manual capability with a lever (in the tool box) and a specific hole in the trunk. I have not tried it, but remember reading about it in the manual. It may be in your manual too?
Of course, the 'manual capability' is for an emergency, not for everyday use, pending repair.

You can put it manually up only. If you try putting it down, it will go down but the cover won't lock and it'll fly open.

Incorrect, read page 29, I've locked it several times manually while trying to trouble shoot my top......

it says to put the key in the door ,but what i am saying is i think my motor is shot so i can not open from the buttoni figured out how to bring the top down but i cant lock the flap where the top hides

remove the rear ski pass center, find the allen key, put it in the slot, start cranking. I believe it is Clockwise to lock the top if you were putting it up and, counter clockwise to loosen the tension to put it down and to lock it in the back.

ahhhhhhhhhh there you go i was wondering because we got it down but the cover wont lock

Incorrect, READ page 28. I mistakenly told you page 29. You CAN lock it manually, I am 100% certain on this..
