I would say the Ferrari 458 and the Aston V8 Vantage are a close second as far as sound.

Why do you hate them? There a damn fine motorsport website and as far as I'm aware run by some great people :/ They do some fantastic writing and coverage of events.

Motorsport is but one avenue of motoring culture. A very rigid, precise, and disciplined one at that. I am not a big fan of motorsport (apart from rallying), but I will not relegate them to the same category as stretching and poking and modifying the suspension geometry to make a car handle worse.
