It's one of many. The configuration isn't really a deal-breaker. Mercedes includes their fanciest options in the S-Class, and like I said it's the attention to detail that amazes me. The SL/CL don't really get as many doodads, and are more expensive.

If you want to be logical about it, it's also a safe car. It's seventeen feet long. Even in silver, people can't "not see" it.
