Subscribed so I can have motivation to do well in the next upcoming years, to guarantee I can get a high end job, so I can afford these kinds of extravaganzas.

The 6 speed? Yes. Probably in a few weeks.. if we can get some low 10's I'll be happy and we can swap the brakes and wheels back out for the summer and I'll drive it around up here.

Trick to doing well at anything (for the most part) is loving what you do! I'm sure you'll be successful and it probably won't be long before you've got an expensive hobby like this... you just better be single when that bug bites.

I know.. I have a tendency of having the worlds longest threads. I should probably break the thread down into a few parts as it progresses so those late to the build don't have to go through 100 pages to find the updates.

Awesome Bro!!!! This is going to be epic. You are going to get a lot out of building it yourself, the pride and hard work makes you really feel great about your effort and is hands down the way to go. Anyone can pay for a quick car. When you put your own blood, sweat, and tears in the out one is so worth.

I can tell just by reading your posts that you have a great character and work ethic that will get you anywhere you want to go. Best wishes!!!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Thanks! I think we'll do well with the car.. I'm confident there will be spots that I'll get stuck and need help with, but most of it can be done with patient and persistence.. I'm pretty solid when it comes to both those traits.

yes, but we have some hardrubber things that we use now for getting the car in/out of the driveway.

Edit: Called Bridge-it or Brij-it.. something like that.
