Hello everyone!
Buying an 89 BMW rag top , needs a new starter. wont start any other way than open the hood and getting it to start. it has 126,000 miles.
how expensive are they ? Have any advice on what I should lookout for when I go take a look at the car.

What is the metal strip on wheel well area on the 1989 bmw above the tire on the body. I have never seen that. Can it be removed.

I wish I could come because that would be great. Unfortunately, I am a little bit too far. Here in Athens, we have Bimmer fests at least once a year but no one is coming anymore. GAs prices are so high that it doesn't pay off to have a BMW if it's a diesel.

ok kool might attend, HPF is awesome, they have a e46 m3 single turbo supposed to be making 1000hp, saw it on the dyno yest. in queens. ppl hand to sit in it and in the trunk lol. tooo much for that low budget dyno. looking for to it.... thumbs up
