sooo sarcasm definitely isn't a language spoken here. I've heard the whole "internet is serious business" line...but this takes it to a whole other level. It's no

Not to sound too harsh but it screams, "I'm packin fat chicks in here" or "I have a huge stereo and I'm trying to hide it behind this tint. That's why my suspension sags". Yes, I know its lowered.

Wow , this is nuts. The guy with the 5k car got a deal and that's cool however we are all BMW lovers but some just have different ideas. Ge like mods that he likes and we like mods that we all like. This guy may not know much about BMW's. He may be young, maybe never been to a track day. He will learn as time goes on. But don't come in this forum swearing at others and demeaning others for advice they've given. These guys or many know the cars and gave good sound advice. Anyways that my 2 cents. Good luck with your mods kiddo!

You start playing with a well engineered suspension you will have issues. Research, read, get a realistic budget to perform the job and do it right. Don't skip tower/shock reinforcement, camber plates, alignment and possible fender rolling. Basically, you're adding more rolling mass on the drivetrain and suspension. Things will be affected from applied stress and actually will make the heavy wagon slower.

Ask my 18 year old what he went through slamming and bagging an 80's S-10 Blazer then dropping a 350 stroked Chevy engine in it. 4-link rear axle, 3500 stall converter, on and on. He started at 16 and had it road worthy in two years with his own money. (well mostly his own money). The car is painted metallic lime green with ghost flames. Us old guys cringe when we see it but hey, it's his vision not ours.
pics or it didn't happen

that is such a sexy looking car. now all you need are bixenons with ae's and a new front bumper and whala. pure sex for a wagon.

your tints are so dark, even the windshield looks tinted.

keep the ambers, they look nice on the white imo.

personally i wouldn't run 10's or slam a wagon etc. but hey, it looks nice. mine will just drive better :-)

Not really feeling the cheap looking wheels, the white on white nor the reverse rake, but if you like the look that's what's important

no, unless you are running like a 225/40, lol. i'm running 265/30 19x9.5 et 38 with rolled fenders atm.

Be nice now and remember he's a kid. No bumping stereo, in fact, the dash is blanked off where the stereo goes. He's into power and lowness. His paint is in let's say, transition in this shot.

none of the white wheels are 10" wide. The original plan was to do 10's all the way around but after the suspension was on the 10's would not clear the front struts. I decided to not do a staggered tire on the car so I ended up with 8.5's all the way around et25. That is what you see on the car now. My front fenders are rolled but it's not necessary with this fitment. My rears are not rolled at all and it's probably about 1/4" away from my tire sidewall. I would surmise that with a 10" back there it would need rolled but with a 9" probably not. 9.5" you would just be gambling. Also in the pic is 215/40 series Nitto Neogens. I'm not sure about the "reverse rake" comment. The front is lower then the rear. The tire/fender gap is pretty much identical front to back but the actual rocker of the car is raked lower in the front. I would normally think of this as forward rake as apposed to "reverse" but either way, I prefer the front lower then the rear rather then "tug boating".
