Those have to be Drag radials, thats the only way you can get a lunch like that in a RWD car...he barely spun at all, definatly a sticky tire on there. Still thats smoking fast.

They are stock tires. It's my car. They spray loads of traction compound on the track at E- town. When you do a burnout in it, even with street tires you end up with tires that are like fly paper.

Good times then, when I ran at e-town on street tires I can never hook like that. What was your 60 ft time?

On that pass it was 1.75 I'm still in shock that I got a street tire to hook that well.

Hey Ghost I raced mustangs also. I had a red lx that ran 9.80s on motor. It had 10.5 " slicks and a stick. E-town was my second home back then.

I got a Bolt on 96 Cobra that on slicks skinnies will run 11.70s at 114 but on the DR's I'll run consistant 12.20s at 115. Soon to have a power adder and run 10s.

BTW what motor was in your LX? A 9 second stick car is absolutely insane.

Your stang sounds nice, good luck with it. My lx had a best 60' of 1.31 I launched at 7500 rpm and it would hang the front tires over the tree.
