AA stage 2 questions

Hey guys.. I have a post over a bimmerforums but figured I would post up here as well..

I just picked up a supercharged (AA stage 2) 330Ci.. Now I just said that it doesn't feel near as quick as their suggested 405bhp.. But that is besides the fact.. I have been in contact with AA for a replacement belt and also mentioned that my car came with a shark injector (I have no idea what tune my car actually has).. I am going to go out with the shark and see if I can actually use it on my car (I am hoping it errors out because of modified/AA flash).. But I guess is there a way I can get the AA (waiting for a response from them) and flash it to my car myself (I have flashed a few e46s with european software).. Or is there a way I can check and see what software my car has installed??

Thanks guys and any suggestions? I am going to throw the charger on right now and see if the shark will error out or work!

Just an update, I went out and threw the shark on and I got error code 143 saying non-stock programming so it wouldn't flash.. So to me Im thinking its got the AA stage 2 tuning that came with the kit!

it void the shark flash... i had the same set up with my m3 had the shark then put in the aa s/c stage 2 once they flash the aa tune it threw out the shark software.... but after you put in the aa s/c you should fine tune it on a dyno machine do it after you got all of the gauges you need.. that may be throwing your power off....

What do you guys use for tuning? I was under the impression that there wasn't really anything you could add to tune these things. However it is pretty clear that there has to be things done because people do tune these cars. I come a little bit from the import scene and the only real experience I have with tuning is with a Vein Pressure Converter and a SFAC or a standalone programable ecu..

Can you possibly shed some light on how to tune these beasts?

thru a comp. and the phone line on my car i have the
the aa s/c radagade kit.. its like a level 6
water -aloc injection
headers with no cats
light weight flywheel
group m muffler the tit race one
i told aa what i have in my engine in perf. mod's and they came up with a tune for me....

but when they fine tune it the tek is talking to aa in florida and they tell him what to do....but to tell you im not into engines like you...hope you follow what i said...i do know the tek hooks his lap top to the car ecu and they look at how the car does on a dyno pull.... in fact he is doing a dyno pull on my car today i just got the level 6 install last week i gave him my car ..should pick it up tommorrow having some other work done to my car to...

you should call aa up in florida and they can work with you how to tune your car and fine tune it they can send you the tune i know that much..

Just a FYI - please post this in the FI section of the forums - you will get a lot more responses.

Back to tuning mine at the dyno.
