e46 swap

I'm thinking about doing an engine swap. More or less leaning towards an s54b32. I need ideas about what to do, I'm thinking about picking up a salvaged m3 in a while but honestly I still need help to figure out exactly what to do. I'm going for a racing style car. I thought about an lsx376 for a while but I don't know about all that anymore. As you can see I'm really unsure about all this but I do have time till I actually plan to do this. I just got the car a couple weeks ago. I know what an engine swap entails so I am not looking for haters to tell me not to swap. I need more power. Thanks in advance for any help. I am honestly looking for absolutely anything
