With that said, I'd make three points: 1) I still believe there is benefit of the constant nutrient stream for competitive bodybuilders. 2) as most people are not competitive bodybuilders, I don't think it's necessarily imperative to follow the 2-3 hour religious schedule. 3) I still hold that the first and last meals are very important and that an I.F. schedule is insufficient as it does not allow for a proper pre-bed meal. Also, all studies should be taken with a grain of salt as there is not sufficient ability to hold anything as a control on a broad basis.

I really don't work my schedule around eating. I eat when I have time to cook and it usually works out to be every 3 and a half hours. I snack in between though, usually on fruits, veggies, nuts, GF pretzels.
Today is the first time I'm doing strictly legs at the gym in a LONG time (probably 3 months). I was neglecting them a lot, but since I started cycling I see a huge difference in my legs so I want to work on my wheels. stay safe H&F sky's out thighs out Last edited by kushy; 05-30-2012 at 07:20 PM. |

weighed in at 168 lbs this evening. Feels good to be gaining weight while eating healthy (minus cheat days).

does this split sound like over training?
Monday --> Back/Bicep Tuesday --> Chest/Tricep Wednesday --> legs + core Thursday --> rest Friday --> arms + shoulders Saturday --> rest Sunday --> rest I've been getting poor quality sleep, dunno if going to the gym has anything to do with it. |

instead of partying tonight I went to the gym @ 10pm and made a late night meal afterwards. I feel pretty good and I'm going to bed now. Shhhh no tears, only dreams now.

Hahaha you crack me up man. I didn't go out either because a bunch of us are going to the beach so we're getting up early. Tonight I'll be stupid and drunk.

Edit: I usually knock out straight with no interuptions until 9 am. But I would still be sleepy when I wake up, so I don't know if that's quality sleep or not. I mean my sleep is good and all. Sent from Jack Bauer. Last edited by SW222; 06-16-2012 at 02:39 PM. |

Dude it was so nice there and much closer than the other beaches I always go to. This will be my new spot. Clean as hell, nice town and easy to get to. Now I'm sunburned lol

this is the program I am starting tomorrow. I'm curious to see how this split compares to the one I made up. Here it is: http://www.muscleandstrength.com/wor...ing-split.html |

I actually like that routine a lot. I like how it incorporates power lift rep ranges, typical rep ranges, and burn out sets. Seems like a good program that will be pretty fun.

did any of you guys start that 5 day routine? I started it yesterday doing chest/tri combo and it really didn't feel as intense as I thought. I think what makes it appealing to me is the strength, muscle, and burn aspects.

I missed squats and calves today. Punishing myself with not partying tonight.
