Drop Hats/Lower Spring Pads
Did XI owners get lower spring pads for the front too? I know we have a 5mm rear spring pad that'll take off some distance between the arch and the wheel.

in case anyone wants to lower their car on a stock suspension. I've ran these on my e30 for over a year now and they are great. Looks like it can work for XI's to since their spring plates are idential to the AWD one. combine this with a smaller rear spring pad (OEM) and your car should return to the level of a I setup. in any event. I don't encourage anyone to get them yet. I'll be the guinea pig in the coming month when I do an inspection 2 on my car before handing it to my brother. |

Those look really close to the E90 ones. I don't see the nasty centers you're talking bout... or maybe I'm not looking at the exact right spot. Either way in for info, the winter beater needs a ever so slight drop.

regardless. if you look at the munick ones, the designs are clearly different if you see how tall the it is and how deep the spring will sit into the pocket as opposed to the e90 drop hat. It's a bit hard to see because of the color and angle of the photos. The drop is there because if you google e90fanatics, a lot of members actually installed these on their cars to to deliver the drop their stock plate's couldnt do |

I have a set of the OEM E90 hats, we had them in stock so I said what the hell. I'll try them out before the weekend. Just put new Bilsteins on the wagon and it raised back up to stock XI height...I really liked the sagging look haha...oh well

Koni Yellows/ Eibach ProKit were low enough in the front. I managed to break off my under body jack pad under the engine area with normal driving.

How has no one tried this yet? I'm so curious but don't want to find out that it won't work

I have had a set sitting around for months still waiting to go in. I'm sure they work fine to give a slight drop on the front axle. There was a post on the E90 forums from months ago that showed a side by side comparison, try searching there for pictures.

This is the response I got from Tam Nyguen from Supreme Power when I placed my order. "Thank you for your online order. We are unable to confirm that the spring perches will work on your 2003 325xiT. We can process the order but the item will be nonrefundable."
I am holding off until someone can confirm that they work. |
