For some reason I'm just seeing this now... anyways I met up with the group at Hooters a few months ago and everybody was cool as hell. Is there anybody in the area who would be willing to help me out with replacing some suspension parts in the future? I'd be glad to buy them a good dinner and a beer or something. I've never done any suspension work to my cars and I'd rather have somebody who has done it help me out. If not I'm going to have my Indy replace it for me which won't be cheap but I do know it will be done right.

what are you trying to replace?

It needs control arms, control arm bushings, tie rods, end links and it needs RTAB and the rear diff bushing. I'm at least a month out before I can get started with any of that though, I've got other things I'm taking care of beforehand.

haha yeah it's got nearly 142k miles on the suspension and it's all trashed. It still handles fine but it tramlines really bad going down the road and when you step on the brakes the steering wheel darts to one side and then back. If I could get the bushings replaced I'd do new struts/shocks and springs at the end of the year. I still have to do all of that plus new tires, VCG, Vanos, tensioner pulley and belts, window regulator and it needs to be buffed really bad. If I had about $2k I could be doing it all right now haha.

To that dude who asked me about E46 coolant after recognizing my E46Fanatics stickers at Advance AutoParts: You're the first fanatic I've run into! Hope everything got figured out with your cooling system. If you need any help, let me know. I live around that area, and I've done the cooling system refresh so I know all the odd little quirks that you can run into.

Is it a pretty big crowd. Eeeh its about 1h30.

It's totally up to you man if you want to drive. We usually get around 15-20 cars mostly Audis, VWs, and a few Bimmers. I'm hoping this month will be even bigger because everyone is back from the summer.
