New Anyone in Denver Thread

I need a full set of 225/45's preferable although 215/45's would work as well. They're for 17x7's so not sure if a 235 would fit correctly.

Got the windows tinted today and I don't like it now. WTF
I guess 20% is a bit too dark. What do you guys think? It looks like 5% to me. lol.




Azzy, did you get zhp exhaust?
I saw you at colfax and colorado today, the car sounded throaty.

It looks pretty dark to me. The tint they put on my wife's 328 looks way too light, but once you're in the car it does a good job of cutting glare and blocking the sun and you can see out easily. I'm also not concerned about appearances or worried about the popo seeing what I was doing inside the car. So I'm cool with the lighter tint.

Yah, when I went to the shop and checked the sample tints, it looked pretty transparent on 35% and 20% looked just about right.
The sample tinted glasses were against the white wall. And I thought it would create the same effect with my beige interior

Well, I will keep it as it is for some time and if I get in trouble with the cops, will just rip it out. I just wanted to save my a$$ and hands from burning from the sun. I didn't think it would come out so dark. Lesson learnt, next time 30-35% is good for me.
At least I didn't spend a whole lot on those. It is $100 tint job with lifetime warranty, a friend hooked me up. Next time another $100 for 35%.

Yeah that's not a bad deal at all. My car has dark tint, I've gotten used to it. It sucks at night trying to back up.

trj - Is your car Steel Grey? I got 30% on mine and I think it is perfect.

Yup, steel gray.
The shop had 35%, 20% and 5% on display and I went with 20.
Should have gone with 35%.
Well live and learn.
I have to black out the window trim now to eliminate the contrast. May be it will flow better.

Isn't your window trim already black? I thought only the 330's had chrome?

Nope mine came with chrome trim standard. I already have the lower straight portions vinyled a couple of months ago but have been lazy on the upper curved trims. Now there is an excuse to do it.

Let's do dinner tomorrow night. Seems like thats where we get the most people.

Tint in my sig is 25% IIRC, was perfect during the day but I had to roll my windows down when backing up at night, could barely see the SVM's.

Yeah. They are a 140AA tread wear rating. Those tires are a track-able street tire. Not really a good all-season option.
