Sounds a lot different than my set-up (which is headers, rear resonator removed, and aftermarket muffler). Guess the muffler makes a really big difference sound-wise.

In regards to your gas mileage, unless you are driving it really hard that isn't exactly accurate, or up to par. I have a 99' 323i 5 speed with all my maintenance up to date. The occassional daily pulls here and there plus city driving and highway driving my car averages 29mpg city and about 33/34 highway. My tank got 540 miles out of a full tank on my road trip last week.

Yea that video was when I took off my Eisenmann for fun so it was headers to nothing. It's much more tame with the muffler.

I'm assuming that was spirited driving. I can't believe you got 540, I want to say the best I ever did was mid-400's. Nowhere close now that I have a 3.46 diff.

I couldn't believe it either. It was solely highway driving, cruise control around 70 ish maybe pushing 80. The roads I was on were awfully straight too, so I'm sure that helped out a lot. I'm still very proud of her.

Wtf people, I'm lucky to hit mid 300's... Relatively up to date with maintenance.

I have two HUGE hills coming out of the town I live that probably are what make my gas mileage average out to be around 21. I have to drive those hills every day, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day haha

They kill my gas going up the hills, and they kill my brakes going down them.

the E46F one? I've been thinking about taking all the stickers off. They are caked on there though......... not sure how I should get it off. I have goo gone but the problem is getting the letters off, not the gunk under them.

I get over 500 miles to the tiny tank on my 318ti.

Yet. No more than 250 on the M3.

I got 400 miles on this full tank. Had my roof rack on for the entire tank also. Looks like it didn't affect the MPG.

29mpg city? Im lucky to get 20 mpg city, usually average around 16mpg and mostly drive city. Still haven't figured out what it is, been driving fine but with bad mpg since I bought it last year. Time for me to take it to a shop, im thinking vacuum leak

I had my OEM rear bumper, and the mtech2 diffuser had a perfectly fitted exhaust tip cut-out. The bumper would never be an issue. The diffuser can be trimmed, even though I doubt you would have to do it. If your are planning on getting it soon, then you're right. If not, then do it without the metch2.

The plan right now is too just try to get two more body parts (mtech ll rear and something else ), and wheels. After that I just want to fix up the interior slowly and try to save most of my money for a project car if we end up getting it. Checking it out tomorrow.

EDIT: But i'm sure my plans will change like they always do lol

It's definitely different to shift but it's a lot easier imo. I think it would be horrible for trying to shift fast though. I just cruise around mostly haha. I do have the other regular shift knob sitting in my glove box though just in case
