The -ER at the end stands for Extended Range, it's what planes have when they can fly further like a 767-300 ER.

So what Mitch is saying is that Steve should get the Chrysler SRT8 with the Extended Range capability.

For those that didn't see it elsewhere, Top Gear did some driving while they were down here last, nominating Australia's Greatest Driving roads. Most of them were in Victoria (GOR, Black Spur, Lake Mountain) and of course the Great Alpine Road.

They took a pretty nice shot of one of the best parts of the high altitude section. There's some other shots following too.
