My Ride: 330ci
Unhappy replacing the front speakers

hi does anyone know, how can i replace the front speaker without having to cut the door panel... all the mechanic say there is no speaker to replace for the car if i want a direct fit to the original one!!! i need a really decent set of speakers... the stock one just suck!!! my ride is a 330ci right hand drive!!!!

Don't have a mechanic work on your stereo system. Take it to a place that specializes in car audio! They shouldn't have any problems fitting aftermarket speakers in there.

I would recommend replacing the whole system though (radio, amplifier, speakers). Upgrading just a piece of the system will give you some improvements, but the biggest improvement would be to replace the whole thing.

JL XR525csi components, no cutting, but you will need to make a custom ring to mount the mid range.

My Ride: 2001 330ci sport
I had Focal 5.25" components fitted in my doors - no problems at all. Excellent speakers.

Focals also fit the rear shelf locations without any modification too.

Get it done by a car audio professional though!
