I bought one of these for my build. it is an impressive unit..massive! ..and well built.
Chris, Does anyone make after market braided oil lines for our cars. I have had low mileage hoses spring some pretty bad leaks. I expect this trend to continue. I would rather invest in something much superior so I dont spray oil all over my engine bay every time one fails. I have never seen any for sale. They must be available? I am not sure if I can even have some custom made. Are the fitting PROPRIETARY or are they readily available for a build? Aeroquip maybe. I have all aftermarket brake and oil lines on my Honda Blackbird XX and they look and work great. Now I want something similar for the M3. . How many of you have had leakers? Is it hit and miss? I have been told its quite common and a problem for many BMW owners. I dont like the OEM hose construction. It is a very weak design. Not trying to jack the thread. It falls under connecting this engineering marvel (the HPF oil cooler) using sub standard OEM lines. I/we need much better connectors/oil and fluid lines.

Can't wait for it to get here! Just hit a 104 today here in DC and with Autox coming up the last thing I want is my engine calling it quits.
Do you know of any braided oil lines as well? Rather do it once and right. Thanks again!

I think this will fit, but just to confirm, any known issue in fitment with AA gen 3/level 2 setup? This is their older setup that uses the Rotrex blower.
Anything i should ask my installer to be sure the fitment will go smoothly? Thanks!

If ANYONE is doing Road Racing or AutoX, this is a must buy. The factory lines work just fine. You won't need braided ones.Quote:

I can't wait for my oil cooler and fan clutch. I'll finally be able to use my AC without the needle venturing to the red zone.
Also excited for something else
