advice on ebay muffler please

So i was looking through the exhaust options on ebay and came across this.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/98-02-06-BMW-...item2c5a4d09d2

it looks like a copy of the Rogue Engineering IKON Exhaust. nearly identical for about half the price.

wondering if anybody has purchased it?

WOO, 300+100 for postage for a no name muffler

Dont be foolish and just buy a Magnaflow from any muffler shop in town. 14815 should only cost $200

true..but people pay 700 for just a muffler as well...and its not really no name. every company starts as a no name company, thats not a reason to not buy it. people on the forum here have bought coil overs and intercoolers from them without problems.. do you happen to know the magnaflow part number for a dual in dual out?

go for a magnaflow at that price. i bought this muffler off ebay for 40 bucks, no way in hell would i justify paying 400 for a no-name muffler like that.

There are a couple of sellers on ebay that sell that muffler, must be a bulk buy from china. I used to run that exact muffler up until about a month ago. Fitment is decent but tips come out a little crooked, built very well out of stainless, and sounds great. Now the bad stuff. The clamps on the pipes are useless and had to be welded on after a few weeks. At first it sounded great but a few months later it started to get louder and louder and louder. I think the packing in the muffler either gets blown out or gets compressed after awhile. I'm now running a y-pipe and a Magnaflow 14815. Much better and cheaper too. Hope that helps your decision a little.
