OIL TEMPS GETTING HOT - HPF Oil Cooler Group Buy!!

The Temps in Bahrain are 90-100f.............AT NIGHT! During the day they are easily 105-115f now. Oh and all this with 60-90% humidity. They'll get worse in July and August

Is it possible to get this hooked up for an ESS TS2 325ci? Or will the intercooler be a problem?

You'll need the S54 oil feed. Other than that I believe it will fit right below the radiator.

Chris, I notice you said you have not problem with this oil cooler and the AA s/c but I like to confirm that it is plug and play with the newer model AA set up also?
Is the HPf oil cooler the same size as the stock one with the plastic frame or bigger. Because if it is bigger then I think it is a very tight fit.

I can def use this if it is plug and play its 102F today

I'll have to check with my techs on monday about the AA kit. It really depends on whether the supercharger kit requires anything to be directly below the radiator. The VF air/water intercooler is right there, so it won't work with that kit for sure. The oil cooler is much larger than the factory with the frame.

I'm also very curious! Unless you can just post a dimension spec sheet of the oil cooler with the bracket/shroud assembly.

I have lots of room below, infront, and behind the cooler, bu width wies the current intercooler pipes are already just touchnig the black plastic surround on the sides of the intercooler and I for sure can not move it anymore. So if the cooler is the same overall width with frame, this will work great.

The Gintani S/c kit i run uses the V1 t-trim blower with oil pick up from the pan, so my oil tends to be a bit warmer. I am really looking forward to see how well this cooler works for me. It would also be nice to use A/C again lol. I just recently purchased/installed your oil catch can as well and love it!! High quality piece!!

Thanks for checking on that Chris. I may look into making some aluminum dowels to drop the mounts of the oil cooler so the cooler is physically below the pipes. Unfortunately I fear that ram duct you hve implemented might stick down past the bumper too much then. Will take some measurements this weekend.

I would definitely order it without the ducting then.

why not make one that fits AA and Ess, the demand is there. you got the technological expertise. no one else on the market has one that fits the application. what else you want, lol

Crappy pic but you can see how well the oil cooler works. Thank god for the AC!

The question isn't why don't we make one that fits with the AA and ESS kit. The question is why do those kits utilize the available space that a larger oil cooler would take up. I would imagine someone could modify the piping and end tanks on those kits to fit a larger oil cooler but I'm not sure. Our intercooler is much larger than the intercooler in those kits which means the end tanks are positioned much farther apart. This means the inlet and outlet IC piping sets farther apart than with the AA and ESS kits. This provides more room for a larger oil cooler.
