Leather Gurus...

Well tonight I really do not want to get into how, but some super clean (aka degreaser) came into contact with my wife's leather seat. It discolored it and also changed the texture of that part. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I basically screwed and I need to just replace that section. Figures this would happen a few months before we were going to try and sell it. Any help would be great thank you!!

Beau

Depends on how much you want to spend and how much in detailing supplies you have access to in order to DIY. You can try some leather cleaner on it, but if you're planning on selling the car just take it to a pro detailer and have them remove it. You will invest more than he/she will charge in supplies to do a good job of getting it out.

Worst case, redye the section. No need for replacement.

Thanks for the help, I found a detailer near by that uses leatherique.. I think I will see what they can do to at least make it look better, doesnt have to be perfect but it is an eye sore the way it currently sits.

You'll need to prep the surface and re-do the pigmentation (colour)
