Lift for home use?

Didn't know where else to post this.
Is anyone aware of a lift(2-3 feet off the ground)for home use? I saw one in a magazine a couple of years ago and stupidly returned it to my neighbor. I'm thinking it was a pneumatic setup.
It wouldn't be lifting anything heavier than the car in my sig line.

Any ideas are welcome.
Tia.

There are many choices that have come out in the last few years.
Which style you get depends on your budget and what you want to be able to do.

There are small 'rocker panel' lifts that you see in often see at quick lube places all the way up to consumer versions of 2 post lifts.
A buddy of mine has a nice sissor style lift that can lift to about 5 feet. It works great to get to just about anything under the car.
The thing to remember about most of these consumer lifts, is that most of them sit under the car, so they limit access a bit compared to a 2 post variety.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but you're probably not going to find anything for under $1500 (or at least anything that I'd get under)

google is your friend, there are a lot of them out there. The lift I plan on getting is sold at northern tool. It is a low rise 2 post lift. Since I don't have a tall ceiling, I'm somewhat limited, but this will help me squeeze under the car when it comes time to crawl underneath.

There are literally so many choices, that a quick google search can keep you busy researching for hours.

I just saw this is on tv and, depending on what you want to do, it's a cheap option.

I can't help you with the search for a lift, but I can say that having a full size lift in my father's shop in the backyard has been more than beneficial over the years. It can be a costly investment however.
