It'd be nice but you have to admit it is a bit redundant to have a 330i and m3 of the same generation
Especially if you have other needs (such as mortgage, child care, etc.) unless if you are balling so hard that you can swing it all

oh he can swing all right...to the fences even

Ditch her and keep the cars.

lol, but srsly, I don't see how keeping the 330i is a big deal.

completely selfish. You didn't mention me once.

My opinion is to keep as many cars as possible but I'm sick in the head this way. srsly im not right.

In terms of real world practicality there is points for either side.
A) always nice to have a back up car if needed.
B) is parking going to be an issue?
C) is the cost of additional insurance justified
D) instead of the 330i would you get a different 3rd car/truck
E) the insurance you save from losing the 3rd car altogether can go towards the new car payment
F) happy wife happy life.

Put simply more pros than cons you're getting the move you want and a new car, wouldnt be a bad compromise.

PS: This both makes me happy and sad.

Because BMW is horrible at packaging and providing value for money. You need something roomy for kids (two in this case) and their stuff for sports, family vacations, etc. and anytime you introduce children into the car ownership mix, wear and tear suddenly becomes an issue. If he keeps the 330, he'll need a more basic alternative. If he buys an M-whatever, he'll need a more practical alternative. Look at Rob, mtnDave as examples.

All of my NGC children have their own BMWs.
The illegitimate ones drive Hondas.

LOL trolling fail:

Drew's car: ...
Miles: DNF
Kyle: has issues DIYing
Dangle: has issues, period
Nick: DNF
Jay's car: a lesbian
mtnDave: exempt due to kids
Rob: exempt due to being a deadbeat at meets, etc.

So this is the legacy you'll leave behind? :yaomeme: Only Rick and Toby are the only ones worth mentioning in this subject.
