I got my rear spings in and realized I am rubbing just the fender liner. I may need to swap out the rear spacers....for the third time.
I spent all of Sunday installing Meyle HD Control Arms, Lemforder Control Arm bushings, Lemforder Tie Rods, and OE Sway bar bushings. I tried to install the Lemforder Sway Bar links but couldnt get them tightened down as the retaining bolt is too thin. I need to get a very thin wrench. Th car is getting an alignment right now at Peak Eurosport (took Brandon's advice). I thought they would be cheaper than the dealer but they are the same price. |

I don't think anyone local is "tuning" E46 M3's. There are plenty of shops that can dyno it locally though. The best tuning solution for E46 M3's is available through BimmerWorld...

SCR does not have a dyno, but there is one near them that they use. SCR does very good work. They sell Epic Motorsports tunes and I hear Epic does well with M3's. Unfortunately it did almost nothing for a 330i ZHP.

Yep, Epic is the company I was thinking of, they work very closely with BimmerWorld. Apparently with a good set of headers, the AFE stage 2 intake, BimmerWorlds 3.5" exhaust and an Epic tune you can hit 340rwhp with an E46 M3...

Ya not sure how I feel about canned tunes but looks like that's what I'll have to go with. just got some AP headers and already have an AP exhaust with a K&N intake.so hopefully I can get the same results of 340..

Doubt it. The BW 3.5" exhaust seems to be one of the main keys to making 340, but it's not really street able. You should be able to hit 310-320 though.
No one is really doing custom tunes for the E46 M3, Epic is your best choice.

Yeah Epic is what I was thinking too. How loud is your AP headers and AP exhaust setup?

Yah, it looks a bit too dark for 20% and I have beige interior. I got used to it now, its just backing up at night when it gets really troublesome. At least its keeping the heat out.

Nice stuff Ronnie, I would have bought the floor mats if I had a merc.
Hey guys, anyone planning to do CCV, OFHG soon? I guess its time for me to do those, burning(loosing) too much oil. I will ordering stuff soon. Brandon, I still need to do the RTABs and RSMs. lol. My RTAB's are dead I guess. One tire is bald now. Will get some tires and do the RTABs so I can get alignment and save the new tires from the same fate.

TJ if I finish up the deck this week I may be able to do something this weekend, maybe Sunday. I'll let you know this evening. So speaking of maintenance, I have some questions and I never know how to take the forums on some of these things. What priority should I rank the VANOS, exhaust hub, sprockets and cam bolts? |

On your list. I'd do the cam bolts first, then the vanos.
