EGR symptoms?

Recently my 325 has developed some odd symptoms. When I’m cruising and I let off the throttle to coast then re-apply the throttle, it will hesitate for a couple seconds (2 or 3) between 1200rpm and 2000rpm. While accelerating from a stop it doesn’t hesitate at all, only does it when I’m coasting. It’s a small problem but it’s annoying as FK! At first I was just getting codes for bank 1 and 2 running lean and I just thought it was the o2s going bad but obviously not. Possibly the EGR? DISA wouldn’t have anything to do with it? What do you guys think?

Also keep in mind the car usually shuts the fuel injectors off in coast mode as I recall, so there may at times be a slight hesitation when getting back on the throttle.

ICV may also be an item to consider, but you really need to work through the basics and get any and all vacuum leaks resolved.

The DISA could contribute as well.
