I too gave my bimmer a bath. However, whenever I decide to wash it, it always ends up raining. I've then noticed even when I took the key out, the radio still worked and the side mirrors were bugging out. =|

Are you sure you got those thin flimsy pins to seat properly into the connector?

I would disconnect, and check to see if a pin is bent, not making a connection.

The new sensor doesn't use the connector plug. It replaced the original sensor and the plug. It's just straight wired

Is it true that if our cars are low on freon, the compressor and fan won't come on when you press the AC button?

Cleaned it and replaced all taillights. I am trying really hard to fall back in love with it. So, I don't feel the need to sell and start over with a econobox.

Yep. Except the part about freon, cars haven't used that since 1993

She needs to get a better cleaner though. Leaves behind spots.

Washed it, waxed it and cleaned the interior. Cleaned and conditioned the leather as well.

Well after the whole weekend running around like maniacs with my wife and 4 kids I finally got to wash Betsy at like 8:30 last night.

We live near farm fields so she gets dirty pretty fast. The dirt was running off her as I did the first hose rinse. I apologized to her that she comes last after everybody else, but she understood. Wax is holding up so I just chamois'd her off and called it good.
