Tips for installing o2 sensors?

Planning to replace one of my o2 sensors that gives an error after my exhaust install...

Any tips on getting these on/off?

Shop quoted $250 just for labor, so I am expecting a long afternoon

these are the ones under the car... downstream sensors, not pre-cats. i see plenty of diy vids on youtube on the pre-cat ones, but the ones below were a pain to maneuver around for my exhaust install. i am dreading getting those in and out

Post cats should not take more than a couple of hours including driving the car up on ramps, etc.

yeah, i definitely plan to get a o2 tool

just came across a diy on this forum as well http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=293116

pretty much answers most of my questions... worried about how much they seized though.. the bolts that were on my stock exhaust had to get torched off

1) Raise car on ramps
2) Disconnect sensors
3) Soak with PB Blaster for 30 min
4) Use a ratcheting S-wrench to remove by running it through the wire

Simple procedure. The shop you mentioned must be run by extortionists, because this is a 1hr job at home.
