Quick Question- 04 AE Install. Adhesive for mounting?
Everything is all wired up and AE's work like a charm. Next step to bake.
Had a quick question to those of you who have already done this. My AE's for my 04 does not come with clips. I have a set of Orion V2 Angel eyes. I was curious to what type of 3m tape i should use? if it isnt white, will it be noticable through the rings? Some of you im sure have also used adhesive or hot glue. I was just worried the hot glue wouldnt sustain the heat inside headlamp. True or false? Just want to make sure i never have to open the lamps again. Any suggestion on adhesive or/vs. hot glue. (if adhesive which type of adhesive should i purchase?) |

I had the same issue - no clips. I used a silicon glue...it's heat resistant and dries clear.
