No he is talking abou the lines that contour the area that is exposed for the light.
I couldn't ask my teacher on Monday, but I have class with Chris Orwig on this Monday. I'll ask him.

Ohhhh I see what you're talking about now. Do you edit in 16 or 32 bit? If you're in 16 bit that can make the difference.
