They're just going to go back to selling it illegally and not paying taxes. They already have the contacts with growers (who remain legal) and are having their businesses ripped out from under them. What else would you expect?

Hardly. Where is the proof?

Please find some credible statistics to back up your personal vendetta against marijuana and report back.

I actually live within 2 miles of several dispensaries and unless you were searching for them you wouldn't even know they were there. I'd much rather have the marijuana trade take place in a registered business that pays taxes and is accountable as opposed to the black market where criminals call the shots and keep the proceeds. If you think that banning marijuana or marijuana dispensaries is actually going to effectively control the substance, you're as crazy as the people who think banning firearms will prevent murder.

I find it ironic that it's harder to get pot legally than a machine gun. So glad the country has their priorities in order.

Full autos are not legal for civilian ownership except under very limited circumstances (and not at all in CA). People throw the term "machine gun" around way too much.

Even if you just meant "gun" the statement is not correct for the state of CA. Weed cards are way easier to obtain, require less documentation, and do not come with a waiting period.
