I don't understand why if Jason is banned all proefi updates must halt.
I'm sure someone else at proefi or saad could drop in to give updates on other e46 projects.

I have a once piece drive shaft now, and a billet rear diff cover that will be going in the car VERY soon.

Nope, this one is actually a solid driveshaft from Driveshaft Shop. I got it from Mike @ MaximumPSI.

Congrats on the new car Charlie! Glad to hear that you've received the beast and are enjoying it.... but if you ever decide to sell it, you know I'm your man . Btw, compared to your previous 2.5, is the 6766 that much better? I'm really considering swapping my turbo out for the 6766 and wanted to get your take on it since you've owned the 6776 and now own a 6766. How much of a difference is there between the two?

Are you using the E46 M3 Diff flange now? I worked with them for like 6 months trying to get them to make one and they would just come back with they couldn't make the flange needed for the E46. You could only get away with the E36 M3 4 bolt flange and swapping out the 6 bolt.

It is indeed a 6 bolt flange. It took a few months to get the driveshaft made.

Trades!?!!?! Thanks man. Yes, I think it is that much better. It builds boost quicker and holds on to it longer. If I remember correctly the 6776 would start to taper out, and this turbo doesn't, it just pulls! So couple that with a more aggressive tune and your car would be pretty much perfect.

Good to hear man. I think I'll probably be switching sometime soon. I do feel a bit of turbo lag with the 6776, so hitting boost quicker without downshifting would be sweet!

Also keep in mind that e85 is supposed to make for faster spool so that makes a difference as well.

I dont recall much talk about that plate. looks very interesting. This is something they should template and make and market for anyone to buy.
That whole diff mount area in OEM trim is weak we all know.
I just got one of the diff braces as well, these are awesome and very very well made, jim at Sadd Racing said they just got a bunch in stock and i also found them on ebay, well worth the money and definitely something worth getting!
