I just told you everything I know about the subject. For me, the only rule is "be super careful with client info." We're really anal about it.

My $100 dark pinstripe suit is literally falling apart so I decided it's time for a new pinstripe suit. Went to century 21 in NYC, picked up a Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece (Full canvassed) 2 button, dark blue (super dark) with pinstripe. New 1900, paid 500

Need to get it tailored still, BB seems to want to tailor it themselves since they don't include buttons.

Post pics, but the reason its so cheap is because pinstripes can look godawful...

will post pics tonight. the pinstripe is a dark pinstripe, so it's like solid from afar but pinstripe up close.

To be worn in Chicago winter with a black parka with fur on the hood. The all black ones didn't get great marks on comfort, the middle one has a less aggressive sole, so I'm leaning toward the third. Input please.

I have a pair of those that are about 20 years old. I actually just re-oiled them a day or two ago. They're still going strong. Mine are the original brown with Vibram sole, however.

The bottom two look to be the same upper with different soles, whereas the first one appears to be a totally different upper and sole.

Edit: Nevermind, they all appear to be different uppers and lowers.

They're variations of the same basic boot. The soles are different. The wedge soles are more for casual wear while the more aggresive soles are better for hiking, winter wear, etc. The uppers are just preference - color, rough-out versus smooth leather.

My FJallraven jacket should be waiting on the back porch when I get home.....hopefully it fits.


Also, my Nudie jeans came in yesterday. They're my first foray into the dry/selvage/organic jean segment and I have to say they are fantastic. 12.2oz denim.....they're crisp feeling but they should break in nicely. They look nice with a variety of footwear, also, which is a plus.

Nice. What is C21? I think you called it Century 21 earlier, which (around here at least) is a real estate company.
