John traced all the wires and they trace through correctly. We are now checking ot see if it's in the CAN bus. ProEFI is providing lots of help. It's the first Z4M they've done so there will be a learning curve.

John and ProEFI made progress but there was potentially a wiring issue with the connection between the DSC and the computer In the ProEFI harness. We put the car back to stock and it is fine, plug in the ProEFI and we get DSC errors. While waiting on that, John has been replacing the 3 failed Walbro's in Ben's M3 which has sucked up a lot of his time. Hopefully ProEFI has a solution and we can get back on the Z4M shortly.

There was an issue with several brand new Walbro fuel pumps that held our production up. John will be back on the Z4M in the next 24 hrs.

John has been working on it. He is still trying to diagnose why the Z4M keeps going into limp mode. It keeps throwing a CAN code. He's been going through every wire in the harness and every connection and testing them. He's working on the Z4M as we speak and has been test driving the car. It's pretty frustrating when you get it all strapped down and start doing pulls only to have it go into limp mode.

I was in the shop today,,, had not read any of this thread, I saw a Z4 on the rack and the guy looked intense...
He had that its you or me one of us is going down expression.

BTW,,, before you ever wire up a CAN bus connection go read the CAN bus specification and make sure ALL the communications wires are the correct type, CAN is a serial bus that requires all wiring to be inside a range of specifications. Use the wrong wire and Joe Mayhem can show up... I troubleshoot CAN a lot just not on cars...

basar. your being soooo patient, massive respect..... i cant lie however id be getting rather pissed off now, think this z4m issue needs 110% attention to get things running for a loyal and patient customer.
