Coolest- well maybe the only E46 at carlisle

My custom E46-el-ca-bimmer at carlisle this weekend was a hit everyone loved it. I guess there were not alot of BMW people at the all truck show. i put over 40,000 miles on her since built in early 2010.

I bought it from co-part late 2009, it was a 330CI cpe.
I was lookin for a rt. rear clip to fix it up for the ol lady.
Wound up graftin a colorado bed on to her, it's a blast to drive!!!
It truly is my ultimate drivin machine

Beautiful! What's the final weight numbers and guestimate the F-R weight ratios? Also, did you customize anything on the rear suspension? And how are you passing inspection?

when I built it I was concerned about light weight rear, I figured if I,m makin a pick-m-up truck I'll need to pull a trailer. I really beefed up the framework of the bed floor , my license plate I have mounted that it actually slides in a class2 receiver. I don't recall the numbers but I weighed it after built and it was 200lbs heavier than the cpe. the suspension is all factory bmw I have a body-custom shop we do pa enhanced inspections

how is it a 330ci?
it looks like a wagon to me.

He grafted the rear end of a wagon into it to make the PU bed, read above.

I knew it was built for a motorbike, such huge props in outs at Trackday I'm sure!! Sick.
