Silver or black... Painting them yellow, orange or red is just advertising that you are po white trash that can't afford Brembos... (This is what all the old timers are thinking but didn't come out and say it.)

Not over stated and for normal driving and even some spirited driving Brembos are not needed, just a good set of cross-drilled or slotted rotors, good brake pads and stainless steel brake hoses.

Look at some pics of painted ones and non painted ones. Decide what you like and do it. If you are a weak minded person that has to play follow the leader then do what you are told by all of the young members and they will like and accept you. What ever happened to making a car your own? I guess its frowned upon by a bunch of little kids. Whatever. Make up your own mind and be yourself. I understand about wanting to fit in and thats ok too but this place is really getting ridiculous.

I think your car will look nice with them red. Good luck.

POR-15 is the best hing I found for it, I did mine in aluminum just to keep them cleaner.
POR is a brush on self leveling paint. FOLLOW instructions on can. Dave |

I used the G2 paint, it's pricey but very durable and does fill in casting marks pretty well. it's also brush on.

Stay stock my friends!

Would Fern Green be okay? I also kind of thought that a turquoise or teal would look good. Would that be worth it?

Did I miss pics of silver? I'll probably just keep the rustic look, but I am curious.
328ci906 I Like your interior so if you could post pics please do or anyone. Or, did I miss pics of silver? Thanks.

Here is my old picture. Honestly, with correct color, painted caliper can look good with color theme of body and rim.

I'm just going to do black. Better than rusty calipers. Usually I just clean then with a wire brush bit on my drill. Lasts for awhile. But I'll just paint them.

Silver on the center of the rotors + caliper + brake pad looks clean imo. This is what I have, and was really simple to do.
It does require cleaning if you have a high dust pad though. |
