Pump and pump+meth were done today. Spinning tires on the dyno with pump+meth. John said you need a new fan clutch too. He will finish up pump/meth tomorrow and put race fuel in it and tune the other two maps.

Chris.

Any solid numbers on pump? I'll talk to Kirk in the morning about the fan clutch. Might as well get it taken care of. Thanks for the update.

Update: Picked up the car from HPF yesterday. The car feels insane. Race and meth is indescribable . More updates later when I get back to the east coast. Until then enjoy the pics.

Looks like the wastegate is surging a bit...overboost, drops boost, picks up boost again...5k-7k (Look at the torque graphs) Rico's did not do this.

But great looking car, hope you are enjoying yourself

You are correct when looking at this graph Kenton.. John spent half the day tuning his car for drive-ability after this because he was driving the car back to West Virginia.

We both know John is meticulous

Never do I ever doubt John's abilities Figured these were before the road test...I was the first person to get the new MVR wastegate when I had my stage 2...should've had mine road tested.

With meth in the tank the owner will be traveling X country with a true 600rwhp car. When I was growing up this was basically unheard of. Really high HP cars were only made to go around town and maybe to the strip under their own power.

The thought of traveling thousands of miles with a reliable 600HP car still seems incredible to me. Such fun. I love it. Please make a travel log video. isn't technology great!

Both cars are indeed monsters. The boost on Noel's is a perfectly flat 13.5. Here's Rico's race+meth (red) and Noel's race+meth (blue).

^ How come the torque difference between the two? I thought Rico had more boost but Noel is making more power until 7200rpm?

Boost was brought in more linearly in Rico's car. Both cars have the same peak boost.

Chris.

Well this is what Rico wanted for his setup...so you can see why I'm scratching my head...

There is more than one way to make power, Rico asked for a power figure we got him the power he wanted to as safely as possible. I know he's going to be extremely happy, and I think everyone here knows just as well as I do that any car on any given day is going to fluctuate some in power especially between two different cars that have about almost 70k miles difference between the two.

It looks like Noel's car has a little more total area under both of his curves.

But honestly, will the cars drive noticeably different?
is that torque surge at 5500rpm more likely to break Noel's tires loose? or not.

BOTH cars are impressive.
