water pump
ok so i put a new water pump in when i went to go change my belts just because i knew it was old, the new water blew to pieces after like 3 weeks, killed my radiator. so i replaced that and put the old water pump back in( wich was perfectly fine before i took it out) NOW, its making some kind of tapping grinding kind of sound, kinda sounds like bearings maybe. i know nothing is wrong with the radiator because i put that in first and it was all good. my system is also bleed the correct way. SO my question is ! Do you think because the water pump was in for so long and i took it out, that when it dried out it became maybe some kind of corroded or siezed up a bit ro kill the bearing???????? car is running at perfect temp all is good but sounds bad! the noise gets louder as i rev too! ???????? any suggestions is welcome!

Are you sure it's not a tensioner doing the noise?
What brand was the replacement water pump? Was it torqued to spec?

the tensioners were fine the noise started imediatly after i put the old wp in. the replacement pump that broke was a bosh. torque specs didnt matter it was the impeller that broke to pieces... im gonna take off the belts on my day off and run the car for a few secs to make sure it is the pump. ..... **** i wish i could do it now its agrivating me to death
