Can't unlock doors with remote or internal button

Hi Everyone, my power lock system is slowly dying. Yesterday I could not unlock the doors by remote, or with internal button. But I can lock with remote and internal button.

I tested both keys, and it does the same thing. I have to open the door manually with key, and that only unlocks the driver door.

The problem is intermittent, it worked again later in the night.

Any ideas what is wrong?

try reading through this. I am having a similar issue, but I'd say once every ten times it happens

Those are classic symptoms of the GM5 going bad and have nothing to do with the key fob.

THanks, read through it, and I think I will have to get it repaired.
