Windshield cowl clips
I just replaced my windshield cowl, is there any way that I can make it absolutely certain that all of the clips are in all the way? Thanks in advance.

notice where they all are and press as hard as you can, make sure they are straight in too as they can bend and not go into their holes.
I had 2 that continuously kept popping up until i press down right on top of them.

So if they aren't all the way in, will I be able to see the difference in the position of the clips that are all the way in?

mine made a pop/click sound when they went in. except for the 2 that seemed like they were in but I had noticed the cowl raised up in those 2 points.

Ah, okay, thanks! If I upload some pictures, do you think you'll be able to verify if they're in all the way or not? thanks in advance.

From what I can remember from replacing mine, if they are not clipped in properly you will see that the soft lip of the cowl is not held snugly against the glass.

The little holders (clips) should float in the cowling so they can slide into the holes in the car. They snap into place, and the rubber will be raised off of the glass if they are not snapped in right.

hammer
I aligned all mine first visually 100% and got them started...
I used a block of wood just on top of the clips/posts and gave a light rap with a hammer to seat them. Had to be careful of the glass...

Great, I don't have any gaps, so I guess I'm good! Thanks for all the help, everyone!
