Gauges go down when I turn on headlights!

This happened to me twice already but when I turned on my head lights my gauges (RPM, gas, engine temp) goes down for a second as if the car was off and then goes back on but the car stays on. I did a D2S xenon conversion using D2S adapters and a capacitor for the ballast but not sure if that has anything to do with my problem.

That is usually a bad ground in the cluster somewhere or in your case a big voltage draw. yes it sounds like your xenon conversion.

Is it wired up correctly with the ballast on its own current draw circuit?.

Think a hid relay might help?

Yes. Ballast and resistors are installed correctly

Yes, I think running a relay would be the first thing I'd do.

There are probably similar threads about this in the Lighting Forum of this site. If you look there you'll probably find this exact issue and fix.
